[Immune disorders in acute pancreatitis and principles of immunocorrecting therapy].
Krivoruchko. I A IA
Key Findings
- Immune disturbances in acute pancreatitis can be categorized using the Gell and Coombs classification.
- Individualized immunocorrecting therapy with thymogen was created based on the specific immune type and intoxication level.
- The method was tested on 63 patients, demonstrating feasibility of a personalized immune‑modulation approach.
Practical Outcomes
- For biohackers, the study offers little direct guidance. It suggests that immune profiling might one day inform peptide‑based interventions, but there are no dosage, safety, or protocol details for healthy individuals, and the findings are limited to acute pancreatitis cases.
Summary
The paper describes how researchers used a diagnostic system to sort immune problems in acute pancreatitis patients into classic allergy types and then gave each patient a custom immune‑modulating treatment with the peptide thymogen. It shows that tailoring therapy to the specific immune pattern is possible, but the work is done in sick patients with a serious disease, not in healthy people.
Abstract
An expert system of diagnosis of the immune disorders types according to Gell and Coombs classification was for the first time applied in the examination of 63 patients with different forms of an acute pancreatitis (AP). The individualized schemes of the immunocorrecting therapy depending on the type of disorder and the grade of the intoxication syndrome present were elaborated.
