Real-time assessment of cigarette smoke particle deposition in vitro.

Adamson. Jason J; Hughes. Sophie S; Azzopardi. David D; McAughey. John J; Gaça. Marianna D MD

This study shows a tiny sensor (a quartz crystal microbalance) can measure how much cigarette smoke lands on cells in a lab dish, and it matches up well with traditional chemical tests. It’s a technical tool for researchers, not a health tip for people looking to improve longevity or performance.

Hepatocyte nuclear factor 4α transactivates the mitochondrial alanine aminotransferase gene in the kidney of Sparus aurata.

Salgado. María C MC; Metón. Isidoro I; Anemaet. Ida G IG; González. J Diego JD; Fern&...

Scientists studied a fish and found that a protein called HNF4α turns on a gene for an enzyme (mitochondrial ALT) that helps break down amino acids. When the fish were starved or given a diabetes drug, both HNF4α and the enzyme went down. This work is about fish metabolism, not about human health or the peptide humanin, so it doesn’t give useful tips for biohackers.

Aeromedical solutions for aerospace safety.

Kapoor. Pawan P; Gaur. Deepak D

The abstract talks about aviation medicine improvements, new policies for pilots, and a future “Humanin‑Space” program, but it does not provide any data or practical advice about the humanin peptide itself.

Improvements in Psychological Health Following a Residential Yoga-Based Program for Frontline Professionals.

Trent. Natalie L NL; Miraglia. Mindy M; Dusek. Jeffery A JA; Pasalis. Edi E; Khalsa. Sat Bir S SBS

This small pilot study found that a residential yoga program helped frontline workers feel less stressed, more mindful, more resilient, and sleep better, and they also ate more fruits and vegetables. However, the study does not involve the peptide humanin at all, so it offers no new information for people interested in using or researching humanin.

Identification of selectively expressed genes and antigens in CTCL.

Hartmann. Tanja B TB; Mattern. Eva E; Wiedemann. Nicole N; van Doorn. Remco R; Willemze. Rein R; Nii...

The study looked for cancer‑related genes in a rare skin lymphoma and found several new gene candidates, but it doesn’t involve the peptide humanin or any health‑boosting advice for everyday people.

O-acyl isopeptide method: efficient synthesis of isopeptide segment and application to racemization-free segment condensation.

Yoshiya. Taku T; Kawashima. Hiroyuki H; Sohma. Youhei Y; Kimura. Tooru T; Kiso. Yoshiaki Y

Scientists created a new lab technique to stitch peptide pieces together without changing their 3‑D shape, using a special O‑acyl isopeptide method. This is a chemistry tool, not a health or dosing guide, so it doesn’t give biohackers any direct actions they can take with humanin.

Cytotoxic mechanisms by M239V presenilin 2, a little-analyzed Alzheimer's disease-causative mutant.

Abe. Yoichiro Y; Hashimoto. Yuichi Y; Tomita. Yusuke Y; Terashita. Kenzo K; Aiso. Sadakazu S; Tajima...

A rare Alzheimer's‑related mutation (M239V in presenilin‑2) kills brain cells through oxidative stress, and this damage can be reduced in lab cells by two drugs that block the enzymes that make harmful super‑oxide. The study doesn’t involve humanin or give any direct tips you can use now.
